"Taking Care Of Children"
The resounding success of
our four fundraising events
Since December 2001, Jackie's Foundation has been "taking care of children" throughout the New York metropolitan area.
In addition to supporting children's programs at Sunset Park's Center for Family Life, Long Island's Coalition on Child Abuse and Neglect and the children's library in Sayville, a remedial after-school program for" Jackie's Kids" was established at the Churchill School and Center in New York City. The Childcare Community Network of Rockland County has dedicated three reading centers in Jackie's name. Scholarships continue to be awarded at both St. Philip's Academy in Newark and at Fontbonne Hall Academy in Brooklyn. Two years running children sponsored by Faith in Action on Long Island have opened presents of new clothes on Christmas Day. In Brooklyn, Visitation Academy has completed the Jackie Sayegh Duggan Music Room.
Thanks to the many supporters who have made our annual fundraises such a success, Jackie's Foundation has funded over $200,000 in children's programs.
